Area park terrorized by plastic gorilla.

We were driving around today and came upon this huge muffler out in front of an Auto repair place. I thought it was worth photographing. I think the street is Westview, but it could be Longpoint.

We were walking in Hermann Park and saw this sign. Not too many wild flowers more like weeds dying.

We were out walking in Burroughs park when I noticed something odd in the water. I was carrying my camera so I was able to take a photo of the "animal" as it raised its head out of the water. I was a little panicked as I tooked the picture. Everything happened so fast I didn't get a chance to really compose my picture. :)

We found this sign when we were visiting Deussen Park. It looks a little bit like someone drowning rather than swimming.

We found this inviting bench on a visit to Kingsville. It also offers a lovely view of a truck bumper. Just took the photo. We did not actually sit on it. We had just finished eating at Lydias. A really cheap and delicious place to eat. I always order the Panchos.

This photo was taken during our camping trip to Buescher State Park during spring break 2005. We had a difficult time getting the fire started. I was goofing around an decided to roast a Vienna sausage.

This is a bathroom on an Amtrak train. We rode the train from Houston to Galveston. It was a special run that they did during Mardigras. The train never went faster than 25 mph. I brought along my gps and had it on for awhile to see the speed of the train. It was a fun trip. We parked behind the Railroad museum in Galveston. It was great because you don't have to worry about where to park the car.
